Workshop For Childhood: The Practice of Parenting with Clarity and Hope in a Distracted World
Bring your community together for a vibrant gathering that helps families move from overwhelm to optimism. From helplessness to intentional action.
As we raise children in an unprecedented digital age, we’re all sensing something is off—but we struggle with what we've lost and what to do about it. In this workshop, we'll acknowledge the real fears and challenges, imagine childhood you want for your family, and walk away with practical next actions that will have an immediate impact.

Technology has rapidly changed childhood and education, and your school community knows something is wrong - how will you respond?
I help schools intentionally design their relationship with technology and support digital well-being across their community. Let's start somewhere meaningful.
Partner with For Childhood for practical guidance tailored to your school's needs:
Crisis Response — Specialized support for the hard moments: cyberbullying, inappropriate content sharing, and mental health concerns
Hopeful Community Education — Parent workshops that transform overwhelm into optimism, catalyze change, and weave community
Policy Development & Implementation — Clear phone policies and digital guidelines that make sense along with support for rollout, managing pushback, and troubleshooting challenges.
Collective Action — Support launching initiatives like Wait Until 8th, Screen-Free Saturdays, Analog Events, 1000 Hours Outside
Lessons Kids Need — Age-appropriate digital well-being lessons ready to implement
Whether you need “what do we do Monday morning” support, or you're ready to dream bigger together, let's start. Because children deserve leaders who are working to find answers together.
COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
“Making Space” Parent Workgroup
Weekly Virtual Gathering
Our children are growing up in a digital world we didn't experience—the change happened too fast to consider the impact on childhood and families. Here, we're coming together to find a hopeful way forward.
The "Making Space" Parent Workgroup is a 60-minute weekly virtual gathering that brings together thoughtful parents to have essential conversations about raising humans in a distracted world.
Each week we’re:
Sharing personal experiences of what is working and what is not in our families and communities
Discussing important topics, themes & challenges that deserve our attention
Dreaming up practical actions and experiments we're ready to try
This is not just a parent support group- it’s a “lab” where we find inspiration, hope, ease, clarity, joy and strength.
Drop in once or come regularly. This is your invitation.
